Day 1: Define Your Personal Style

Take some time to define your personal style. Start by identifying the pieces you currently wear most often and the colors that dominate your wardrobe. Use this information to create a mood board or Pinterest board that reflects your style.

Day 2: Purge Your Closet

Take a picture of your wardrobe and get rid of clothes that no longer fit, are out of style, or you haven't worn in over a year. Donate or sell them, and make room for new pieces that reflect your personal style. Make 3 piles: keep (has been worn more than once in the year), donate/recycle, unsure. Once you have separated them, go to your "unsure" pile and further narrow down the ones that should be kept (e.g. items that can be worn with different pieces of your wardrobe). Remember, do not keep clothes that do not fit, you should not fit into clothes, clothes must fit you!

Day 3: Experiment with Accessories

Accessories can make or break an outfit. Experiment with different pieces such as scarves, hats, jewelry, and belts to add an extra pop to your outfits. Depending on you kind of style, colourful and print scarves are better worn with clothes that do not have drawings or lines, but are solid-colored items are the best pair for them

Day 4: Mix and Match

Try mixing and matching different pieces in your wardrobe to create new outfits. Don't be afraid to pair unexpected pieces together to create a unique and personalized look. Be creative. Be bold!

Day 5: Add Statement Pieces

Add a statement piece to your outfit, whether it's a bold coat, statement necklace, or a pair of standout shoes. A statement piece can add personality and character to your overall look. This is where the outfits completes you.

Day 6: Try a New Silhouette

This is an exciting day and one that challenges you to go outside of your comfort zone. Go to a store you typically go to for shopping and experiment with a new silhouette that you haven't tried before. It can be a new dress or a pair of pants that are different from what you typically wear. If it is something you believe would make a difference to your wardrobe, I believe it is worth purchasing the item!

Day 7: Incorporate Prints and Patterns

Incorporate prints and patterns into your outfits to add interest and texture. Start with small prints like stripes or flow and work your way up to bolder prints like animal prints or florals.

Day 8: Go Monochrome

Try an all-black or all-white outfit. Monochrome outfits can be sophisticated and sleek, and are a great way to play with different textures and materials.

Day 9: Invest in Quality Basics

Invest in quality basics that will last you a long time. This can include a well-fitting pair of jeans, a classic blazer, or a white button-up shirt. Basics NEVER and I mean NEVER go out of fashion, so a simple basic white t-shirt and blue jeans is a must in anybodie's wardrobe.

Day 10: Take Risks

Take a fashion risk and step outside of your comfort zone. It can be something as small as trying a new accessory or something as big as wearing a bold outfit. Remember, fashion should be fun and expressive! Look back at the picture of your old wardrobe, and be proud of yourself for completing this 10-day style challenge.

Remember, improving your style is a journey, not a destination. Take these 10 days to experiment, try new things, and have fun with fashion.
